How long have you been doing this?
Amy has been taking pictures professionally for nearly two decades! She first began photographing professionally just after her second child was born. He's a senior in high school this year!
This is Annie's first year teaming up with her mom to schedule, edit, and deliver photos. Amy and Annie are so excited to finally be working together!
How many photos do we get?
This depends on what kind of session you book. Once you reach out to us about your photography needs, we will email you back with a unique pricing sheet detailing what's included in your desired session or package. Check out our "Session Options" page to learn more about session pricing!
How will we be able to see our photos?
Within two weeks of your session with Amy, you will receive an email from Annie with a link to view your photos. At this point, you'll have the opportunity to decide whether you'd like to purchase some or all of the images in your gallery. Immediately after purchasing, an email will be sent with instructions to download the images.
Do you retouch photos?
Yes... and no. We retouch photos for non-permanent blemishes, scrapes, and scratches. However... because we believe that each human is imperfectly perfect, we leave birthmarks and bodies alone in the editing process so who you truly are will shine through! Don't worry... Amy is aware that everyone wants to look and feel amazing; it is one of her highest priorities.
Whats your turn around time?
We promise to have your photos delivered to you for review in an online gallery within two weeks of your session with Amy.
How do we book you?
The first step to booking a photo session with Amy is to reach out via email on our Contact Page.
If you are local to the Dallas/Fort Worth area and would like one of our six main session types, we'll get back to you with additional details about what's included in your session, and a link to schedule and pay your session deposit.
If your needs differ from a local session type listed on our "Sessions Options" page, that's ok! Reach out via our Contact Page with a few details, and we will be in touch to set up a time to gather more information. After our call or meeting, we will send a detailed quote (including next steps) within three business days.
Can you help us with planning?
Yes, we would love to! When you schedule a session, we will send you a digital welcome magazine with tips to help you decide on what to wear, how to best prepare your children or pets, and other ideas to help your session run smoothly. If you have additional questions, we'd be happy to set up a Zoom meeting!
Do you travel?
If you have a medium-to-large-scale project located beyond the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area (eg: ranch photography, photos for an animal-centric business brand overhaul, company-wide lifestyle headshots, etc...), Amy would love to connect with you about making this happen! Please contact us with some basics about your project and we will be in touch within 48 hours (often sooner!) to gather more details. After this conversation, we will create and email a quote within 3 business days.
If you live beyond the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area but would like Amy to capture your family, pet(s), headshots, horse, etc... reach out, also! She loves to travel, and there are a number of options we can offer, such as gathering a few interested families for a day of sessions, to help disperse the travel fees.
In other words... where there's a will, there's a way!
What should we wear?
The age-old question! Our suggestion is to consider your family's primary style... are you a casual bunch? Sophisticated? Boho? Preppy? Start there, then consider your location as well as where you'll be displaying your photos. You'll learn more on these thoughts in the unique session guide we send once you book your session!
